世界モスキートー・デー (蚊の日)

世界では、30秒に1人がマラリアで亡くなっています。
2010年は、世界約80か国から4万人がアゲンスト・マラリア基金の活動に参加し、約8万5千張の蚊帳を贈りました。

1897年の8月20日、イギリスの医学者ロナルド・ロスによって、マラリアはハマダラカ蚊に刺されることによって感染することが発見されました。この業績により、ロス氏は、1902年にノーベル賞を受賞。

世界モスキートー・デー (蚊の日)に是非、一緒にマラリア予防のために泳ぎましょう！
